എഴുത്തുകാരനും ഗുരുവും സ്നേഹിതനുമായിരുന്ന ഹാഷിം മുഹമ്മദ് എന്ന ഹഫ്‌സയെ ഓർക്കുന്നു, എം നൗഷാദ്. ഹാഷിംക്കയോടൊപ്പം മണിപ്പാലിൽ നിന്ന് മടങ്ങുകയാണ്. കാലം കുറേ മുമ്പാണ്. കണ്ണൂർ ബസ് സ്റ്റാൻഡിൽ വെച്ചാണെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു, ഒരു യുവതി തന്റെ ഭർത്താവെന്നു തോന്നിച്ച ഒരാളുടെ മാറിലേക്ക് ചെരിഞ്ഞിരുന്ന് കരയുന്നത് കാണാനിടയായി. അവരുടെ തലയിൽ മുല്ലപ്പൂ ചൂടിയിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഈയടുത്ത് കല്യാണം കഴിഞ്ഞതാണെന്ന് തോന്നിച്ചു രണ്ടുപേരും. ഞാനാ കാഴ്‌ചയിലേക്ക് ഹാഷിംക്കയെക്കൂടി ക്ഷണിച്ചിട്ടുചോദിച്ചു: “മനുഷ്യർ കരയുന്നത് എന്തിനാണ് ഹാഷിംക്ക?” എന്തിനോടോ കണക്കുതീർക്കാണെന്ന മട്ടിൽ അന്തരീക്ഷത്തിലേക്ക് ഊതി അയച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന പുകച്ചുരുളുകൾക്കിടയിലൂടെ ഒരു നിമിഷം അദ്ദേഹം എന്നെ
» Read moreഎം നൗഷാദ് ചില മനുഷ്യർ അങ്ങനെയാണ്.അവരോട് സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ഏതാനും നിമിഷങ്ങളിൽഒരു ജീവിതം ജീവിച്ചപോലെ തോന്നും.കൂടെയിരുന്നാൽ കൂടെക്കൂടും. കുറഞ്ഞ നേരം കൊണ്ട്കുറേ കാലം കടക്കും. പല പാതകൾ നമ്മിൽ കയറിയിറങ്ങും.മിണ്ടാതെ മിണ്ടും. അവരെന്തും കേൾക്കാനാവുന്നവർ.കരുണയാൽ കണ്ണുനിറയുന്നവർ.മൗനത്തിൽ മനസ്സറിയുന്നവർ.ഒന്നും തിരികെ വേണ്ടാത്തവർ. അകം കൊണ്ട് ചിരിക്കാനറിയുന്നവർ. മരിച്ചുപോയ ഒരു പുണ്യാത്മാവ്മടങ്ങിവന്ന് മുന്നിലിരിക്കുന്നെന്ന് തോന്നും ചിലപ്പോൾ,ഒരു കുരുന്നിനെ ഉമ്മവെക്കുംപോലെ തോന്നും,കിനാവിൽ പെയ്‌ത നിലാവിൽപറുദീസ ഇങ്ങോട്ട് പുറപ്പെട്ടപോലെ. അവർ പിരിച്ചുവിടാനാവാത്തവർ.സമയദൂരങ്ങളെ ജയിച്ചവർ.പിരിഞ്ഞുപോയാലും പിരിഞ്ഞുപോകാത്തവർ.മറന്നുപോയാലും മറന്നുതീരാത്തവർ. പോയിക്കഴിഞ്ഞാലാണ്അവരേറ്റം തെളിഞ്ഞുവരിക.നിർത്താനാവില്ല അവരോടുള്ള വാക്കുകൾ,നിശബ്ദതയിൽ അതേറ്റം മുഴങ്ങും. അവരില്ലാതാവുമ്പോൾനീറി നിറയുംനാമവരിൽ.
