സൂഫിസം, ഖവ്വാലി, ഇഷ്ഖ് (SAFI Speech)

As part of BOOKARAVAN, a journey through different campuses introducing their titles, BOOK PLUS publishers organised a session at SAFI Institute of Advanced Study, in collaboration with SAFI Readers Forum. I was asked to give a brief introductory talk on my book ‘SAMA-E-BISMIL: Qawwaliyude Ul Lokangal’ (The Hidden Worlds of Qawwali) and this is an edited portion of my talk. Amongst other tales, this includes a story on Laila and Majnun that Jabir Sulaim had beautifully narrated at the Kagrart storytelling event (I guess he authored it and that’s why it needs to be mentioned).
